Is the ComLax.com site secure?
Absolutely! We use encryption for all personal information transfers. ComLax does not retain credit card information after.

What is the best way to contact ComLax regarding my order?

How long does it take to process my order?
If you order it by 2pm and we have it in stock, it’ll go out that day. If you have an emergency, just call us and we’ll get it done for you.

We’ll even do this for you…if we don’t have the item in our warehouse, but it’s available from the manufacturer, we will arrange for the manufacturer to ship it directly to you at no additional charge. We will let you know this when you place your order.

If neither us nor the manufacturer has the product in stock, we will let you know this when you place your order. At the same time, we should be able to give you an estimated delivery date. You will have the option of waiting or purchasing an alternative order or waiting to place your order at a later date.

While we always try to have product in stock, sometimes we screw up, sometimes the manufacturer doesn’t make enough or sometimes, the stuff flies off the shelf so fast, we can’t buy it fast enough. Even when this happens, we will do our best to provide you with the most accurate, up to date information regarding availability of product.

Most packages ship directly from our warehouse in Franklin, Massachusetts. Regular ground shipping takes from 2 to 5 business days, depending upon where you live. You can always upgrade your shipping to get you the stuff faster. We offer UPS Next Day, Second Day, Three Day Select and Ground/Standard shipping.

What forms of payment does ComLax accept?
Credit cards; Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express (we guaranty that it’s safe). We also take personal checks as long as they have an address and telephone number. We ship product upon receipt and processing of checks.

I’m interested in placing an order, but am afraid to place it online…what should I do?
Get over it! Shopping on www.comlax.com is a no-brainer. But if you still aren’t convinced, just call us toll free at 1-888-548-4529 x24. We might give you some crap, but we’ll be happy to help you. Our staff is available Monday through Friday 10AM to 6PM Eastern Standard Time.

Can I make changes to my order once it is placed?
Not likely, but give it a try. Once we receive you order, it is transmitted immediately to our warehouse where it is processed and shipped out as quickly as possible. If your order has not been processed, we’ll be happy to change it. If you need to change your order, please let us know as soon as possible, by either calling us toll free 1–888-548-4529 x24 or by sending us an email at: customerservice@comlax.net.

What if my product breaks?
You’re out of luck! Just kidding, chill out! Starting in August 2007, manufacturers required that all warranty issues be handled directly through them.  Using the contact information below, you can contact the manufacturers directly and upon approving the return, will issue you a Return Authorization number so you can send the item to them for a replacement. Warranty periods are generally 6 months or 1 year depending on the product.

Shipping

How do I track my order?
Easy…if you have an account with us or set up an account when you placed your order, you can login to see if your product has been shipped. You can also call us to find out more information.

I live outside the continental United States; can you ship to me?
Absolutely! We ship most items outside the continental US (or APO/FRO addresses) by the United States Postal Service AND, even though there are additional processing costs on our side, we won’t grab you for anything more.

I’m missing an item from my order?
Sometimes, because either we or our manufacturers are out of stock, we place certain items on backorder to ship at a later date. Sometimes, because we know you want your stuff, we ship different items from our different warehouses. When we do this, we eat the extra freight charge.  The invoice and/or email you receive with your order will tell you which items have been shipped separately. We will also email you specific packing slips for any items that ship directly from our manufacturers.  If you still have questions about items missing from your order, give us a shout.

Returns & Exchanges

What is returnable and not returnable?
Here’s the deal. You can send us back, for any reason, any product that that is 1) still offered for sale by the manufacturer; 2) is unused and 3) is in the original packaging. If it’s used or not in original packaging, we can’t take it back. Custom orders that are not damaged cannot be returned or exchanged.

Is there a restocking fee?
No way!

Can I return the product that I bought online to one of the ComLax retail stores?
As long as it falls under one of the above categories, bring it in to any of our stores. Just help us make it work for you by making sure that the stuff you want to return is in the original packaging and you include your invoice (either the one from us or you can print out your invoice that we email you).

What will I receive if I return product??
Full refund if it falls under one of the above restrictions listed above and you return it within 60 days of purchase. If you return in after 60 days, but it falls under one of the above criteria, we will issue you a store credit.

Who do I contact if I am having problems with your web site?
Definitely call our customer service group at 1-888-548-4529 x24 and we’ll take care of things for you.

What do I do if I can't remember my password to get into the web site?
You can visit our lost password page or you can call us a 1-888-548-4529 x24 and after we give you a bunch of crap, we’ll look it up for you.

Are prices on Comlax.net the same as they are at the store?
No way. In fairness to our customers, our web prices lower than our store prices. In our stores, we incur a lot of costs that don’t exist for our web business. So, we thought that the best way to treat customers was to provide lower prices where our costs are lower. So you can always be sure that in both of our businesses, we are charging a fair price that is reflective of the cost of doing business.
